D of E Support
Jo & Kate have asked to help out at the 4 v 4 club for part of their D of E training. This has been agreed with Clare and we wish them luck, and will support them in this section of the D of E Awarded Scheme.

Tour 2008
All the details of the tour are now on the website. However rooms are going fast snd I need to know which accomadation people want - Budget or Classic rooms.
I have spoken with the tour operator and I am in the process of securing our booking.
I have also been informed that 3 other teams have already confirmed booking in our age group and they are expecting around 8 teams.

International Football 2008
We have provisionally been invited to play international football, in this country on the 26th & 27th July 2008.
I am still awaiting confirmation, however can I ask people to put these dates in their diary if you would like your daughter to have the opportunty to play visting teams from abroad.
I will put up a page dedicated to the event nearer the time, but I do not want to distract the team from their league and cup commitments.

First Away Win
The squad has secured it first away win of the season, a 0-4 victory over a talented Cantebury City side. A Hat-trick from Alana and a goal from Sarah secured the points, and with resolute defending and goal keeping the squad has secured their second clean sheet in two games.

New Signing Announced
Harvey has announced that he has offered Hannah a place, in the squad. Hannah strength and pace will be an addition to the team.
We are in the proccess of getting the registration forms proccessed, hopefully in time for our trip to Ramsgate.
Hannah will be travelling with the squad to Canterbury.

Kent Cup Draw
The Ist round of the Kent Cup has been drawn, we are to play hosts to Division One's Kent Magpies.
The game is to be played on 14th October - Please come and support the team.

Well done - the squad has earned thier first ever - Kent League points - against a talented opponents Whistable Town. 2 goals -one in each half secured the points.

Narrow Defeat
The squad played their second game of their mni-tour of Greenwich, by playing Kent League Division One team Long Lane Youth, narrowing losing 4-3 to a late Long Lane Winner.
Although we are a division below Long Lane we made a match of it, and were praised by The Long Lane managerment who wished us well for the forcoming season.
We would like to thank the players and managerment staff of Long Lane for the game and wish them well, for the new season.

Friendly win
The new look squad , ran out 1-3 worthy winners against Selkent Outfit Marathon JFC. two goals from Alana and one from new signing and player of the match Lauren, put the tie beyond Marathon.
We thank Marathon for the game and wish them all the best for the new season.

Friendly warm up Match
Division One side Long Lane, have kindly offered to host a pre -season friendly this Sunday 2nd Sept , this will give both teams the chance to dust of the cobwebs and make final preperations before the league starts. and it also gives us a chance to test out the E-Programmme in earnest.
Match time to be confirmed at training.

New Signings
Next season squad is now starting to take shape with some of the regular squad opting to re- sign for next season. So far Tiffany, Beth, Corrie, Jemma, Alana, Katie, Sarah, Paige E & Tania have put pen to paper and agreed to play for the club next season.
We can also annouce 4 new summer signings, Jo, Lucy, Lauren and Kate. Lucy and Kate have Kent League Experience and have come from Dartford FC and Jo and Lauren from Hayden, however from a Parkwood point of view we have just signed four ex Cobras players, a team that we highly rated at mini-soccer.
We are expecting the rest of the squad to put pen to paper over the next couple of weeks.
Once we have finished the registration process the full squad will be announced.

Manager of the Year Award
Not only have we an awarded winning team, we now have an award winning manager. Our team manager Harvey was voted the Manager of the Year by fellow Parkwood Rangers Managers.
This was presented at the Clubs Annual Dinner and Dance.
