The Game of Lawn Bowls
Bowls is a clean and healthy family sport that is not divisive by age, can be enjoyed by able and disabled people on a competitive basis and where Males and Females compete on an equal basis.
Indoor and outdoor facilities mean that it can be played all year round. It is a social game and most clubs have a good social side. It is a game played in a disciplined environment with a constitution and proper rules which ensures a good level of behaviour and standard of dress.
The sport is played at all standards be it roll-up, Club match, League, County, or International. This is supported by a good infrastructure as coaching and umpiring is provided on a national basis.
