    Revenge Over Rhiwbina
Celts gained revenge for their opening day defeat by beating Rhiwbina at Llanishen Park by 5 goals to 3.

Connor Shorey was outstanding as Celts beat Rhiwbina 5-3 at Llanishen Park. Midfielder Shorey's application, footwork, vision and precision-passing on a difficult pitch was the platform for Celts' win, and he also scored a wonder goal. Celts other scorers were Barni Gubb and a hat-trick by Rhys Hawkins. Every Celts player was on form, and with better finishing they could have scored another 5!

    Female Manager Top Again!!!!
Once again, Kelly Walker tops the Monthly Chart in the Fantasy League.

What's her secret? Can anyone stop her? Would she consider the England job? Can she do it again in December?

    Celts Take A Pasting
    Celts 1 v 6 Ely Rangers

Celts did the double over Ely Rangers last season, but Ely got their revenge as they beat Celts for the 3rd time this season.

Too many players were below par in the first half as Ely ripped into a 4-nil lead. The greens were handed a lesson in movement, communication and ball retention, whilst the Ely defence was rarely troubled.

After the break, Celts ball retention improved and they started to take the game to the opposition more, but Ely still managed to increase their lead. As the game wore on Celts looked more and more likely to get a consolation goal. Three free-kicks whizzed narrowly wide of the Ely goal while at the other end, replacement keeper Declan Court pulled off a miracle stop which lifted the Greens. Celts solitary goal came from Ben Roach as he stooped to head home.

Overall a disappointing game for Celts and they will have better days than this!
