Bitton Boys

A hard fought game between Bitton U7's and BRSJFC U7's
finished in a well deserved 5 all draw.
The first match saw Bitton take an early lead but
Rovers fought back to draw level with a great goal
from Robbie Snowden-Higgs. The second half deadlock
was only broken by a goal from Harry Farrell after
great performances, again, by Jake Lacey, Sam Knocker,
and Takayo Nembhard.
The Second game saw a goal from Jake Henderson for
Rovers, but Bitton soon equalised. With some great
football from Mathew Innoles, Thai McElwee and "solid"
Soloman Templar Rovers were soon ahead again with
another goal from Jake Henderson. Bitton retaliated
to quickly equalise, but Tyrell Squire put rovers ahead
once more.
A penalty for Bitton and then a late goal ended the
match 5-5 on aggragate.

Rover's win again!
BRSJFC 9 - 2 AEK Boco

Another great performance by BRSJFC against a battling AEK Boco side in the pouring rain. Early pressure resulted in goals from Jake Lacey , Takayo Nembhard, and Harry Farrell. Backed up with solid performances from Sam Knocker , Matthew Innoles and Vinnay Sooriya meant a clean sheet at half time. In the second half Harry Farrell completed his hat trick and with some great runs from the defence allowed Oliver Tucker - Jefferies to get his first goal for the Rovers. With one more goal from Takayo the first match ended 7-0 to rovers.

The second match started with a good goal for AEK Boco but Charlie Perrett soon equalised. Again solid Soloman Templar lived up to his name in defence and with great team spirit from both sides, Boco again took the lead but with great performances from Thomas Jackson, Jake Henderson and Tyrell Squire , Charlie Perrett scored a great equaliser. The game ended 2-2, with an overall win of 9-2 to BRSJFC.

Thanks to Mark & Karen Farrell for this weeks' write up
