    Welcome to Southend-on-Sea Bowls Club

We are a well established club that was started in 1909 by a small group of business men and gentlemen of the area who first built the green and tennis courts on a plot of ground in Victoria Avenue,Southend.

The club stayed on this site until 1970 when we moved up the road to our present ground which is situated at 7 Tunbridge Road where we are to this day. Our club boasts a six rink turn around outdoor green with our own club house and car park ajoining, on the ground floor is situated three indoor rinks with bar, and on the first floor is yet another bar and large dance area where we hold many evenings of entertainment. The club has a snooker room with two tables, we also have our own kitchens and over looking the green is a observation lounge where you can take your drinks and watch the bowling on the green.
