Renowned for its friendly welcome and approach to the game, Horam Bowls Club offers first-class green & pavilion facilities to Ladies & Gents and younger players. Touring sides, holidaymakers, and visiting players are welcome, and we are always on the look-out for new members living in this area. New players can be helped with tuition, social games arranged, and inclusion in match teams.
We play friendly matches against other clubs; we play League matches and County competitions, we hold club tournaments and social events. There are two indoor Short-Mat carpets as well as six outdoor rinks.
Ladies only, Gents only, or Mixed teams are all catered for, and our spacious pavilion is used for Short-Mat matches during the winter season, with social events and league teams operating.
TOURING TEAMS are welcome, and dates. match format, teas/meals, etc., can all be arranged in a package-price that will depend on numbers involved.
Membership subscriptions, Visitor fees, and refreshments are very moderate - in fact good value for money.
