Sportstation are proud sponsors of Leek CSOB under 13's football team for the 2007/8 season.
Founded at the start of the 2004/2005 season, Leek CSOB started off as Leek Saints due to the number of lads who attended Leek Saints School in Staffordshire. They started life in the under 10's Staffordshire Ladsandads league with a full squad of ten players. The season finished with the team finishing third (out of 10) and runner-up in the Leek subsidiary cup.
At the beginning of the 2005/2006 season it was decided to play our home games as Horton Playing Fields and change the clubs name to Leek CSOB. It was felt that the association with Leek CSOB would benefit the lads and team. This season brought new challenges as they were moving from mini soccer (seven-a-side) to youth soccer (eleven-a-side). The season finished with the team finishing second (out of nine) and winning the Leek cup.
Following promotion from the yellow league, CSOB were expecting a far tougher season in the red league. And so it turned out with only 4 wins out of 16 games. Although the season saw the team finish third from bottom, the team progressed significantly on the pitch with several managers commenting howmuch they had improved.
2007/2008 saw CSOB playing in the yellow league again following relegation. To date (28/12/2007) they are unbeaten in all competitions.
