Where We Play

Founded in 1951, "The Fed", as Broughty Athletic are known, play their home matches at Whitton Park, Arbroath Road, Broughty Ferry, Dundee.

Originally known as Claypotts Park, after the adjacent Castle and road of that name, the ground was re-named Whitton Park in 1989 to commemorate Eddie Whitton who had served the club with great distinction for forty-five years.

The ground's capacity is 2,500. It has a clubhouse which is situated in the south-east corner at the Arbroath Road end of ground (see first photograph below) and is a very pleasant ground on a nice day but with no seats, no cover and only flat to slightly-sloped grassy areas for "terracing", spectator facilities are basic.

One spectator facility which is available is the refreshment bar situated in the pavilion area - good value, friendly service and well worth a visit.

Access to the ground is gained via the main gate on Arbroath Road (shown below); the admission charge is £4.
