    Ratton Tournament News

    Another encouraging tournament with the Warriors coming away with two good victories and finishing 5th out of & in a very tough group was something to be proud of.  Goals from Harvey Fitzpatrick and Connor Robertson helped the Warriors on their way.

    Winkney Tournament - all the action

    A very encouraging tournament from Willingdon Warriors with the side registering two wins three draws and only three defeats.  We had some great goals with Connor Robertson and Sam Marchant scoring their first ever goals for the club and Darien Smith making a good debut in goal.  All the results and scorers can been founfd in the Fixtures & Results section.

    Winkney Tournament - Saturday 24th May 2008

    This weekend we are competing in the Winkney tournament at Eastbourne Sports Park , all those selected please be at the ground at 10.00am for a 10.30am kick off.  Please note that there will be no training this weekend.

    Hailsham Tournament - How the day went

    This was a very tough tournament for the Warriors , but after the first knockback against Hangleton Rangers (who eventually won the tournament), we played some good quality football and very very unlucky to only come out with only one draw and four narrow defeats, all the scores are in the results section.

    Marurice Thornton Playing Field is located on the Town Farm estate. To find the playing field travel through the High Street, along Mill Road to St. Marys Avenue. Travel down St.Marys Avenue and Greenwich Road following signs to the Hailsham East Community Center via Vega  Close.

    Tournament News - Old Town Boys
    A very encouraging display by all the players on a glorious sunny day.  Connor Robertson made a fine debut for the Warriors , fitting in well with his team-mates.  All the scores can be found in the Results section.

    Penalty Shoot Out Update

    Congratulations to Dan Bazley for winning the penalty shoot out competition, it was a close run thing with Keiran Woonton pushing all the way until the final kick.  Well done to everyone who took part!

    Tournament Update - Sovereign Saints

    Warriors played alot better than the results suggest, just a little luck in front of goal and we would have made the semi finals, see results section for more coverage.

    Awards Party - Saturday 26 April 2008

    Don't forget that this coming saturday is the awards party which is being held at Freedom Bowl at Hailsham Leisure Centre, the fun starts at 10.00am , please get there at least 10 minutes before to ensure we get our full hour of bowling.  The awards will take place after bowling whilst we are eating party food.   We will finish approximately 12 noon at the latest,  SEE YOU THERE !!

    PENALTY SHOOT OUT COMPETITION 3 MAY 2008

    This year we are having a penalty shoot out competition on 3 May 2008, a trophy will be presented to the winner, so get practising those spot kicks!
